Fast Building with Nano Turrets

In some games I play in on SuperSpeedMetal, I see ppl have like a design already made to make about 15-25 Nanos.
Pattern:
Start-Right-Down-Left-Down-Right and so on... for about 15-25 Nanos (I don't remember amount), I'm wondering how do you do this cuz it's faster

They are using an arcane combination of shift, ctrl, alt, and keeping the left mouse button down to achieve that effect.

By "arcane" he meant "obscure and magical".
Try mixing combinations of alt, ctrl, and shift when drag-building and you'll see some neat tricks you can do with it. This also will let you build walls around a building as a 1-click operation - useful if you like fort walls. Also, Z and X create build-spacing.
