Spring Downloader unwilling to close.

Hi...

The issue is rather odd, I click X at the top right of the Spring Downloader and it closes, a new icon appearing in the taskbar for it, I right-click it and click "Exit", and sure enough it exits... Yet it restarts itself less than a minute later. My operating system is Win 7 Home Premium (64bit) and the version of the Spring Downloader is 1.6.3

EDIT;
I should also point out that this still occurs even if I kill the process.

Just speculating here, but can it be that the lobby you are using depends on springdownloader because it is set to do so, and relaunches SD when it gets killed?

Can't be that, as I am not running the Spring Lobby at present.

Just kill it using taskmanager until we fix it. I think it incorrectly things there is upgrade available and performs "restart after upgrade" operation when you close it..

(Im still unable to replicate bug).

VBS found the cause of problem, widgets luamanager sometimes crashes internally, and this makes SD think it crashed and performs self-restart on close.

Well, as long as it's now known and can be fixed I guess it's all good xD

Kind of related but different SEVERE bug.

Click the Games tab, select a game, and click Join a battle.

It asks for a user name password, hitting either the close button or the login/register button with empty fields just brings the same dialogue box up. Since the dialog has the full focus of the program it's essentially in an infinite loop.

It gets worse when you hit Exit in the taskbar icon, then the window repeatedly closes and opens and grinds windows to near a halt making it hard to open task manager and kill it.

Also, the main window needs an Exit menu option among other things, the UI in general is pretty bad.
