Games listed on the Games page aren't all available anymore

http://springrts.com/wiki/Games
The Cursed site links to the download page at:
http://www.springfiles.com/show_file.php?id=2140
But once there, both links provided give me nothing but a message that says: "The file you are trying to download doesn't exists."
The link for
P.U.R.E brings me to
http://wolfegames.com/
P.U.R.E is a $20 game. Anyone can take the code and make their own game to sell, if they get their own artwork?
Star Wars: Imperial Winter links to a discussion that says BETA is closed, as of March 23, 2009. Its been a long time without anyone able to play that game.

1. Fixed it, added a direct download link.
2. Yes.
3. And it will be way longer than that.

@ Dream Focus
iirc, PURE's demo is the full multiplayer client. The full game is the missions. So in that way, PURE demo is as complete as any of the free Spring games.

Well, you can... it's just that your users are free to redistribute it.

People play it, just people in the closed beta... I am neither on the dev team NOR am I on the beta so not me in particular... just pointing out your technical incorrectness

yeah, but at least it is also the most interesting stuff, which you are most motivated for to do, as, of course, you always leave the best part of the work for the end.

If a game isn't playable in the current Spring version - by anyone, without restriction - it shouldn't be listed on the page.
Maybe a link to "Games in development" or something would be appropriate. Imperial Winter is as much a mod as GEM or AWS at this point (both had private beta sessions), and shouldn't even have a forum here as it's just a redirect elsewhere.
Possibly another link to "Commercial games" too. For all this implies, good and bad, Spring is all about free open source stuff, I don't think commercial games should be the first things people see.

It isn't the first thing they see. They see the Open Source, free-as-in-beer, not-using-somebody-else's IP stuff first. Click on the button, it's about a page's worth of big pretty pictures for the Open Source folks. The OP just was just wondering how the whole selling-a-game thing worked.

Beer isn't free and it's kept in the back of the store, like PURE and other commercial titles should be.

PURE demo is a complete free multiplayer game-package and is actually more complete than most of the "free" spring games, so I think Argh takes unnecessary heat for this. The retail package is about getting Argh's maps and single-player content.

Does PURE run well on "regular" maps?
If not, your argument's strength is diminished a little. But I suppose at least if there's a playable demo and it's clearly marked as such then it's not
such a big deal.

Yes, it runs just fine on regular maps. Yes, the Demo's clearly identified as such.
The beer analogy's especially silly. Everything in that store costs money. And nobody thinks it's terrible that you have to pay for things you buy in that store, either. It's just how life works.
As an analogy, it's flatter than an emo chick's preteen sister.

Actually, pretty much all of the art content for Imperial Winter is done -the main thing left is balancing, with also some scripting. The problem is that I'm on exchange in the Netherlands for a semester, so it's difficult to find time to work on it. If you guys want to see it done sooner, we're after talented animators.

"Free as in beer" means it's like free beer, you're allowed to take it for free and drink it but you don't get a recipe or anything for it. It means free refers to cost. The other option is "free as in speech", i.e. with no legal limitations.
