"Your mod differs from the host's one." problem

Hi, recently I have been having a problem with Spring, after the (forced) update to 0.81.2. All mods, including BA, as downloaded directly from Springfiles, give this error(Your mod differs from the host's one). It is not a lobby problem, as they(TASClient and SpringLobby) have been updated and tested before and after their updates.
I have tried restarting, but get the same error.
I have redownloaded the mods, and tested newer versions, but they will still not work.
I show up unsynced in all battles. I had to update Spring manually to 0.81.2 (by extracting the files out of the latest update file and replacing) because the setup application did not work for me as it gave me an error which I can not remember right now. It does not matter to me as I have updated it in the registry too. I have tried reinstalling Spring, which still didn't work. I have tried all the available servers that worked with my mods. I have tried downloading a mod and testing a match with a friend - which still didn't work.
Specs:
OS: Windows XP Professional SP2 32 bit
CPU: AMD Sempron 140 2.7 Ghz
GFX Card: nVidia 6150SE (This worked previously, do not comment on how old this card is; for it works for me. No more lag than anyone else.)
Memory: 2GB of RAM: DDR-667 and DDR-800, 2 cards, 1GB each.
Motherboard: Biostar M6P6P M2+, also called N61PB-M2S.
Any suggestions?
