I'm trying to connect the TASClient .151 to a LAN server ver .151 (Local Host)

Except that it won't connect.. Here's the error from both server and client:

I've tried downloading the new server from the website but it's not only incomplete (must be installed over .15, but it also insists that it's still .15 when the file says it's .151)

Anyway I'd appretiate any help anyone can render on this subject.

same with me. same error message when i just overwrote my old taserver files, and when i deleted that folder and made a fresh install it would work at all (for an instance, the tee.exe was missing and there was some strange error in taserver.java).

You don't have Server .151

It's on the downloads page.

I've just reuploaded the server, I forgot to include binaries (*.class), it should work now.

Thanks! It's working now!

On a related topic, I was wondering if it could be setup so a LAN game could keep track of player stats... Wins/losses, isn't that what the regular servers do? (Anyway it's just a thought, doesn't matter that much if you don't.)

nope... check that help button at the top of the page... it will tell you that stats=play time... and I'm pretty sure it's the same server... I'm not positive though... so once you get playing 20-30 hours on your lan you should see ranks going up...
