Spring RTS Engine

When the game starts it starts loading then the screen goes white and it says not responding.



I click 'wait for the program to respond' and I eventually get ingame. The problem is that it takes really long and all the good places get taken.

Also, there is usually a delay before spring even pops up after the launch and sometimes spring doesn't start at all.

One of the reasons I bought this new PC is so I could get ingame quicker so this is really annoying for me.

Does anybody know how to fix it?

It was bullgaurd antivirus, if anyone else is using this and having same problem then kill it!
