Blades are (almost) usless with 81.1.3

Blades do not fire on mobile target (95% of the time) since engine 81.1.3

This need to be fixed to prevent all core spring players to turn arm in T1 game (since stumpy still is faster, more manoeuvrable, cost less metal, far less bt and energy than raider in BA7.04)

I have a fix for Bladewings which is turning off useSmoothMesh, as I believe this is the cause, will test before release (which will be sooon ;))

ps presumably you don't mean the arm t2 gunship :p

It can be turned off on a per unit basis so turning it off for bladewings only wouldn't be the end of the world.

I'll try a few other things first such as I believe maybe if they're flying higher now their vertical range could be increased to solve this also, one problem is Bladewings in BA have always had a few problems with the fight command for one which is still outstanding so it may be related to the general fubar'dness of the unit.. will see this evening.

Increasing laser tolerance should do the trick nicely. Put it at like 1 or 2k, and it should work rather nicely. With gunships you have to adjust with tolerance because the gunship moves around so much it cannot be 100% determined that at every given moment the gun will be aimed directly at the target.

Edit: DIdn't read about the smoothmesh crap that's been going around, so maybe what I posted isn't related to what's actually happening.
