Re: [PiRO] Clan
OH HAI. I JUST FOUND OUT THIS PLACE BY GOOGLING MY NAME. :DDD
PiRO ROCKS. EVERYTHING ELSE CONSISTS OF SPONGES.
Btw, please mark me as active, I'm probably the only American PiRO so I live in a different time zone - so we meet each other rather rarely.

That is all

Herro Wisse.
No, not really, just occasionally reading forums but that's it. If you want to play some day, send me a PM. Would be fun to reminisce the old times.

Well, I'm in a very slow process of getting a new PC, which will let me play Spring again. I'll let you know when that happens, so we can fail a game or two together -.-
Ofc I also wanna see if I still beat Behe :D

Re: [PiRO] Clan
Modding has sapped all my playing skills, so you'll have an easy run. Get intel+nvidia, and an ssd if you got the budget :)
Re: [PiRO] Clan
Hey!
Modding or not, you can't get much better if you still use that trackball. I've never imagined that anyone could be even half decent using it, until I saw you -.-
I know that nVidia was preferred back when I was still playing, but according to your recommendation that hasn't changed at all? I was looking at Radeon 7950, which seems to fit my build better.
I'm willing to reconsider my choice for the sake of the Spring, but I'm not sure what the benefits are?
SSD if ofc obligatory.

Re: [PiRO] Clan
With ATI, you get 5-10% more performance per dollar in return for way worse drivers. Just get a GTX 660 :)
Re: [PiRO] Clan
Cmon, it can't be that bad? What kind of driver problems do you have in mind?
Anyway, I'm still at least 2 months away from buying anything, which means that nothing is set in stone yet. Prices are dropping all the time, so my build could sway in any direction :)

Iv always used ATI on spring. Years back there were some problems with newer drivers. Havent had any problems since.
