Spring RTS Engine

fairly simple idea;

90% of spring players will only play teamgames.

why dont we set up a, say, a tournament, ladder or even just an autohost (that records the best teams and has a ladder) for 4v4 teamplay, that -most importantly- has a strict map cycle.

that way, noobstar players can be competetive whilst not venturing outside the box of their own experience, and to compete will have to play non-DSD maps. good idea, rite guiz

Or just get autohosts to record who wins the most games and display them in a nice sexy list in front of everybody when the lobby starts up. This way I can pronounce my glory.

Playing ladder games with randoms is stupid idea imo.

I mean all autohosts. Or somehow implement it into the server so it just records all won games :D The CA list means "NOTHING"

It's not a CA list, it's all games on Springie hosts (Springie the app, not Springie the bot name). However it would be better if broken down by mod.

When the replacement ladder comes there will be team ladders and there should be the functionality to support automatic team ladder battles. I really cannot say much more.

Actually it has some of your stats, it shows that you play ARM and are very slightly above average player.
System runs for many years it has tens of thousands games in database.

With random teams or fixed teams? Springie already does random team ladder using elo and fixed teams requires so much organisation that a team tourney is a better idea.
