New Terraforming Buttons - how to use?

Okay, I'm having trouble figuring out the new terraforming commands.
1) How do I cancel? If I get stuck with the height so far displaced that they're planning on building a canyon to Hell, how do I cancel before accepting the order? Escape doesn't work.

2) How do I build a wall around a unit?

3) How do I build a large flat building surface? The level command draws lines, not rectangles.

There's a trac page. Unfortunately caspring.org is down right now. Ask GoogleFrog about terraforming or det to fix caspring.

For #2: Choose Raise and alt+click the unit.

For #3, draw a closed shape and it will terraform the entire area.

If you want a square specifically, hold ctrl.

If you want rectangle hold ALT
If you want straight line hold CTRL
If you want filled shape hold SHIFT

Most complex is ramp - for simple mode left click on one part and then second part and then use mouse to define width.

Drag mode allows you to build open ramp but i never managed to figure it out.

When CA starts working again manual will be there:

If you want filled shape hold SHIFT
This is wrong. SHIFT is for queuing the order after other orders just like SHIFT in all other circumstances. Filled shapes are created by making the ends of the line meet.

For #1 right click. Right click cancels the order at and stage during the command, just like any other order.

Escape works for deselecting other commands so it should ideally work for terra too - right click or escape.

Actually, when building, if you press shift, give the order, then depress shift, the building disappears from your cursor.

This is the problem everyone else (including myself) has been having. When they depress shift, the terraform is still stuck to their cursor. Probably fix that.
