A) ICON_MAP_OR_AREA

or

B) ICON_AREA2 - like ICON_AREA but instead will always issue the command even when not dragged, giving a parameter #4 (radius) of zero.

We had to use incredible hacks to make easy metal work both as right click on mex spot and right click+hold to make area mexes.

While my request was partially fulfilled there is still a problem I'm having. I don't want to start a new thread so I will outline it here.

Expected behavior:

Now works: Select iconarea command from menu, leftclick on a point and it will call the command with 0 radius.

Does not work: DefaultCommand says to make the iconarea command active (for example, hovering over a certain point I see the cursor icon changes), rightclick and it will call the command with 0 radius.

Currently it makes the command "more active" (not sure how to describe it - it was active before because it showed the cursor icon) which then requires a leftclick after you rightclicked.

The point was to simplify things and allow the player to just rightclick once.
