Spring RTS Engine

I was playing BA on "Giant Hills and Valleys b2" and after a bit the computer started lagging bad even though cpu usage wasn't high. The hard drive was going crazy and it turns out the game was trying to record a 1 gig demo file! Weird, even much longer games on bigger maps never made a demo file even a tenth that size, only happens on that map.

Anyways, I am wondering how to disable recording a demo? I couldn't see an option for it in springsettings nor in the springsettings.cfg file

Does it happens every time yu play on that map, or just that once? Also, could you maybe upload the first megabyte or so of the demo file please?

if it's any sort of repetitive, it'd compress pretty well.

The problem seems to happen every time I play that map. I've played dozens of other maps, including several large maps, and the demo files are rarely larger than 30 or 40 megs even for a long game.
