Hello,

When i want to play Spring in singleplayer, the game crashes with this infolog:
LogOutput initialized.
Spring 0.80.5.2 (0.80.5.2-0-g67e2f5b{@}-cmake-mingw32)
Available log subsystems: mapinfo, CollisionVolume, unit, VFS-detail, VFS, ArchiveScanner, Sound

Enable or disable log subsystems using the LogSubsystems configuration key
or the SPRING_LOG_SUBSYSTEMS environment variable (both comma separated).

The file C:\Users\Michiel\Documents\My Games\Spring\ArchiveCacheV7.lua is however present in my system

Windows 7 professional 64-bit
fresh install under C:\Program Files (x86)\Spring\

I've tried everything on this topic:
http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=19019

running as administrator doesn't help (and it doesn't produce a logfile when running as admin so can't check if it's the same problem)

can you help me?

Thanks in advance
Chielus

this should not be a big problem, it'll cause your spring to start really slowly if you've got a lot of maps/mods, though.

try deleting the file and starting spring without any lobby open (Test Spring in start menu or run spring.exe directly).

in the options, enable: use old launch method
no idea why with certain people certain process execute functions makes spring to hang, and no clear pattern except it's only in windows

thanks!

now i have the problem that the game is very slow if there's more units(100 total). with low graphic settings and intel gma 4500, this shouldn't be, right?

anti-alliasing is off, low detail settings (and basic water), 1366*768

(or do i have to start a new topic)

yeah, with your system, that should not happen.

when you are ingame, you can press B, and CPU usage of different parts of the game will be shown to you. this info could be usefull. if you type /debuginfo profiling, the same info gets written to the infolog (only from that very moment, of course).

it may be a widget that does something your intel gfx doesn't like.
