Pop-Up Guns

Hi everyone, I want to resolve a question that I have.
How do Pop-Up Guns work? Because I built 2 or 3 and when the enemy aproaches, they dont go up! Is this a bug? Or those weapons are under development? Please, help me!

Tech 1 popup turrets are anti-air.

Thanks, but I meant missiles popup turrets, laser popup turret, they dont work.

There is no such thing a laser popup turret. Some laser weapons require a certain amount of energy to fire.
I'm only assuming you're talking about BA here btw...

Which mod are you playing? As already said many of these popups can only shoot at air targets.

Ahh! I didnt get it at first, but now I understand.
So, in BA, popup guns can only shoot air targets...

What? No. Only one of the pop-up defenses, the Pack0, is anti-air. The other pop-up defenses are plasma canons (except for the Core pop-up rocket-tower). Also, there's the dragon's claw/maw, which are a flamer and lightning tower... but most people don't think of them as pop-ups. All of those should be able to attack a ground target in-range.

What about the viper? Doesn't it shoot at air too?
