DRUH

I used to really like DRUH when it was out for TA. Then I lost it one day in a re-install of TA. I forgot about it for a long time. Recently (~2 months ago) I began a new quest to find The Long Lost DRUH of Yore. Alas, I could no longer find the beloved DRUH. I looked on MCH, @ an ancient UH site, and other pages from an ancient time when the empire of TA was strong and flourished. My quest has failed to yield this relic however, and I fear that DRUH is lost to civilization.

DRUH was Drakken & Recon's Uberhack. They made an Uberhack with a bit of expanded tech 3, a little tech 4 IIRC, and boosted defensive stats (the DRUH Vulcan was an awesome thing to behold *shudder*).

I think that it did have the ultra-super Moho Metal extractors that had like a pull of +50 and they were huge and went into the sky, yeah. and Bertha Walls, I *think* the ARM Aeon super-dreadnought, and all lasers had a pretty slick .3do model attached to them, same with LRPC/RFLRPC shells, they weren't itty bitty BBs, they were fiery plasma shells.
More about the RFLRPCs: I said they were an awesome thing to behold, here is why. A normal RFLRPC just had long range, high damage, splash, and rapid-fire. the DRUH RFLRPCs were just like that, except that instead of rapidly firing single plasma shells, they rapidly fired bursts of six or eight plasma shells that looked wickedly cool. Their range was abysmal [edit]sorry, I'm stupid, it's accuracy. the range was also scary[/edit], but it didn't matter. It was like a "repent, sinner, or face the fires of Hell" kind of an experience

Mmm, we have DRUH 1.1 for TA mutation on FU:

I don't really know the history of DRUH, so I don't know if that's the latest version or not. It'd be a decent starting point anyway.

ROFL!! I can't believe my mod has a cult following so many years after I haven't even thought about TA!!
Ok officially *that* mod ended with version 1.03
Pawz and I tried making a few other mods with TA but things got side tracked and finally we decided to just make a whole new RTS from scratch - which we shelved when we first got wind about Supreme Commander being under development by CT himself.
Now Supcom is in beta and we prety much play that.
lol though Fiz. Thanx for being a loyal fan!! You can bank on the fact that Pawz and I will be coming up with a Supreme Commander mod after the game is released!
Ummmm please please please.....

Yes, Ive downloaded a year ago to FU, avoiding something like "more one good thing
is lost to civilization" trauma.
Please only dont "smack me" too.

of course supreme commander will have mods!!
Supreme Commander was designed from the *ground up* to be the most moddable game in history.
TA wasn't even designed to be moddable at ALL and look how well that turned out.
SC uses Lua for scripting and has almost all its game attributes exposed for modding. Piece of cake!
