it happened with flashes in 3 of my games yesterday (out of like 15-20 games, each 1-3 vehicle plants)

maybe its a pathfinding bug?

it does not fix the issue, it's just a work around..

select your unit, press "c", drive your unit out of the plant using the arrow keys

I think it happens when the unit under construction is told to attack something that dies before the construction is finished.

Happens to me lots of time, because I keep using Ctrl Z.

I gives me a nice refreshing view to hop into the tank and manually drive it out while my base is under attack, but it's annoying when I expect my factories to keep pumping unit and they are jammed.

It's not just attacking order; any orders that are queued while the unit is still being build can mess up the pathfinding.

put a rally point just in front of the factory and when giving units ALWAYS hold shift. that continious flow of units is important ya know :D

this stuff works but doesn't really propose a way to fix the bug... hey.. maybe we could teach units to BACK UP and try again when they get stuck somewhere... like a 3 point turn... I don't know...

That should be hardcoded into Spring. First thing a unit does: get out of the factory. Only after that it's time for other commands.

Hear hear! I agree. This would also fix the issue with my stupid f!@#ing construction units deciding to build that flak right next to the factory they are in from in the factory yard, and thus stopping the entire factory queue until they finish their little project.
