Why does stamper always have jagged edges around the logo and text? I've always thought that it was quite ugly and that the tool itself suffered as a result.

Smoth, what detail tex are you using on the map in the last screenshot? May I ask what map as well?

random idea: upload as screenshots with Wallpaper tag?

Stamper uses images but those images are high resolution. The problem comes when you upload tiny pics and php does major downsampling resulting in major jaggies. Bluring helps this but people rarely turn it on, and its not as good as expected.

As for not liking scanlines, you could always erm... turn them off?

And then i could turn the logo off.

Oh wait, then whats the point?

Hunter nice shots but they are low res...

Because stamper hosts all its own images

??

can you somehow disable mipmapping?

anyway eyah my screenys are somewhat low res and also lack fsaa. if osmeone wants to buy me a new monitor i'd be happy to make them spring wallpapers :p

PS everyone needs to press HOME key a shitload when taking pretty screenys, this ups the polys the terrain is rendered with. i usually use about 300.

If I started a massive screenshot repo on springinfo, could I get you guys to add/contribute to it? Like forum post/send me zipped screenshots?

Pulling them off of imageshack and imagebam is a serious pain in the ass unfortunately.

I used to make panoramic screens.

I'll probably take at 1080p, or possibly at 4096 x 1024.
