You may disperse! Feel free to discuss in private, though I ask you do not post in #main or on the forums directly.
That is all

you know uberlobby is both a very inactive/undeveloped product and something along the lines of your icarus plans except in python

Not quite, I don't put all my eggs in one basket, and Icarus was never the same scope or direction, or even the same starting point as uberlobby
Icarus was a means to an end, just not the end you think

Aegis' plans within the spring community are irrelevant precisely because as of yet, he still fails to understand what he's talking about when he uses the word Icarus, the vague assumption they've all arrived at is laughable despite it staring them in the face

I know what he's talking about.

my plans weren't within the spring community.
I was just really referring to your quote about me and uberlobby.

Wow, secret plans, dark projects involving ninja coders with hidden agendas and building tech with obvious commercial/resume applications that somehow never get released, and Peet doing something retarded to AF out've boredom.
I am so surprised. That's so not like Spring at all. Really, really shocked by this. Stunning news. This never, ever happens.

How dare you accuse me of doing such a thing out of boredom? It was sheer malice!

@Smoth:
To answer your question: yes. Before Christmas.
@Peet:
Seriously now.
I know it's fun to jerk AF's chain, I have been guilty myself. But it's not so funny when you spoil his latest attempt to work on something big, especially after he spent the time and trouble to contact a lot of folks and get it moving, albeit in a ninja way.
That's just childish, and doing stuff like giving out his personal information is really unprofessional.
I know that's easy to do and stuff, but keep in mind that divulging it at random to the public is generally uncool.
I can't really support that. Lulz are one thing, but these kinds of games involve real people wasting real time and effort, and are generally not in the interest of the community, and I can't really feel a lot of sympathy about somebody deciding that a ninja project should be outed in the early stages for lulz.
I think that you and the other guilty parties probably owe him an apology, unless there's more going on here, in which case I would like to know before making a judgement.
I generally don't get involved in your hacker feuds, other than to tell you guys not to spaz out, which is usually futile; if he tried to letterbomb you or whatever, then I suppose all's fair. But I really have trouble imagining AF doing such a thing, or thinking it'd be a good idea to appeal in public if he didn't honestly feel he'd been wronged.

I really don't see where working in a closet makes you more efficient than working outside, and also don't see why it would ruin everything to have the closet door opened.

Thankyou argh, and I forgot to mention, I have my own special sauce too. I applaud those who managed to find the first easter egg in what you downloaded, and I assure you there are more
As for ruining everything the golden rule was simple, talking about projects resulted in cancel+ban. The people in the forums managed to stick to the rule fine, peet with his bbpress exploit couldnt. Simple as.

uh afaik peet wasn't tied to your projects in any way... "president madagascar!"

he made them public, violating the golden rule. I cant really ban him since hes not on my forums lol but the cancellation still applies. Any project under Icarus that became public became dead, simple as that.
