Gundam Annihilation: Changing sides (traitor!)

Help a n00b and feel good about yourself.
I cant seem to change to the Zeon side in Gundam Annihilation (in Spring, of course). Ive already asked the creator (Smoth) and he recommended me to ask around here. Anybody have a clue about changing sides?

are you playing via the lobby, or are you loading spring.exe directly?

im playing offline (T_T) using the random enemies script. What's wrong?

in random enemys you cant change sides, cuase the random enemys are on the other side. It ammounts to you getting a bunch of random enemys rather then a comm or anything else of value.

you could be crazy... add coms to the first wave of random enemies, switch sides, take one... h-share it back to player 0 and then switch sides back...

Or just change the sidedata.tdf file to switch the commanders around...
