Looks nice, but why only blob shadows? The "real" shadows blend nicely with the baked-in shadows imo.

At the and of this game, I was lagging like hell, so I had to disable bloom/shadows/LUPS, etc.

the fx are.. inconsistent..
in those shots are green nano spray, white nano spray and beams.
and the shields look TERRIBLE.. surely blur api could be used to make refracting shields by now? the default spring shields are fugly as sin

the point of vanity screenshots is for them to look nice not ugly hence why taking screens whilst playing fails a bit. You need to spec or watch replays to get good shots or alternatively stage a battle. Fugly shield and 3do's in picks

Side-specific nanospray colours... I've used them for a long time. That and one side gets beams, the other gets spray. It is a side difference which would look better in a different context.

We should standardize nanospray by all means, but there are currently some errors with lups nanospray: It sometimes sends random clouds/beams across the map, the update speed isnt fast, and it doesnt convey stalling quite as well.
So its sort of half implemented. Yeah yeah i know that doesnt stop it being ugly.
The shield thing is a good idea, probably, if you want to do it that'd be great. :D

MK why don't you upload images to CA gallery instead hosting them on your own machine with obscure IP address and very low bandwidth?

Tips: the real sexx on this map only appears with real shadows. Blob shadows look so bad here you should have just offed them.
Use /mapmarks 0 next time to disable rendering of drawings and points.
Too many shields obscure the view of units, and yeah, the line stipple connecting shields aint exactly purty.

Takes too long? Do you realize you can upload whole zip file or even just give it URL to your server and it auto fetches all images..
