Multiplayer Hosting/Joinging Problems

Here is the issue:
A few days ago (before the updates in the first week of September) me and my friend were playing multiplayer Balanced Annihalation just fine. After the first week update, my friends copy got corrupted, so he had to reinstall. Due to windows being a bitch, it took him a week and a half to get it to uninstall properly. We then installed the latest update, and now i can't get anyone to join me, and i cant join any other servers using RelayHost (when other's can).
Here's what i've done so far:
1. RelayHost
2. Firewall execeptions
3. Firewall completely off
4. Router port forwarding
5. Router Demilitarized Zone (turns off routing functions)
This is a fresh install from the main spring site, with springlobby updated through the auto-updater to V23.
Any hints?
