There are nits I could pick.... but in general, that thing is farking goregeous. Nice work.

Work on making it look like metal (someone else could probably explain this better ), and don't just paint x pixels around an edge beige, it's a bit strange

Overall, I think it's awesome and the idea is also appealing.
However, I don't think adding an inner glow to every face of the texture does it much good. Try to cut back on the inner glow

Needs preshading, and I agree with Hoi, the edges need to be more natural. Otherwise looks great!
