Spring RTS Engine

Basically the game is a mixture of The Sims and Austin Powers. You take on the role of... an evil genius! Yes, how appropriately-named, hm?

Anyway, you send your pawns out into the world to steal money, complete various nefarious schemes, and generally rid the world of goodness. Meanwhile you're back on your island constructing your very own custom doom fortress, complete with a hilarious array of traps and such.

As the game progresses, you become more and more notorious, attracting the attention of international anti-crime organizations and an equally impressive array of volunteer evil henchmen with all kinds of unique abilities.

You also have to make sure that your men remain loyal and alert at all times. Random executions work great for this.

It's not an amazing game by any means but it's reasonably fun and good for a laugh now and then. At $5 it's a steal.

I don't know when this came into effect since I haven't bought anything from Steam in... probably 6 months or so... but they now support Paypal. I'm going to be using this from now on just because I know that it means Valve gets even less of my money, greedy buggers.

How is this any different from any other spam?

Well, talking about Steam deals or Amazon deals or something makes sense, they're time limited offers that some people may have missed otherwise and unlike spam they're offered by serious companies. I'm not sure if Evil Genius is a good deal though.

Eh, it's somewhat repetitive by the end, notoriously buggy and has a pretty klutzy interface at times, but it's still a fun game.

...well, at least when James Bond isn't in your base making all the doors go crazy and things asplode randomly. Which is why I laughed evilly when the US Marines shot him up good. Take that, martini boy!

I only posted this because it was $5. Are there seriously people so cheap that $5 for a good-quality evil simulator is too much?

Did you know that this weakend toothbrushes are off 42 % at wallmart? And that you can get shoepolish on steam, if you buy it bundled with twelve pair of shoes size 7, for nearly nothing?

I admit that evil Genius is a great game though. Absurd crimes to conquer the world for the workx!

I actually got the game when i saw that it was only $5. I've been pretty much spending all my time playing it since then. And no Caydr, I bought it before I saw your post.
