To be fair a lot of my favorite games are probably just slipping my mind right now. I've played a lot of old-school stuff that's just... too old... too long ago.
A lot of the other really good stuff I've played has been on handhelds or consoles... so...

Loophole! Loophole! Super Metroid is an awesome game, my favorite on the SNES by far. But I've never owned a SNES. Figure that one out. Also, Vectorman for Genesis.
