crashes when I try to watch replays

Every time I try to load a replay, Spring crashes right as the opening splash screen ends. Any ideas? i need to find out how I got spanked so bad last nght :wink:

i have no idea but there are some messages about reflective water, RAI and shadows.
maybe try watching a replay without any of these?

best idea i have, is checking the script.txt. do you still have the one of that game, or of a game wiht the same crash?

i am still unsure about that ...
is the version a temporary, and as it is beeing used as a reference, and this coudld cause problems?
or is it trying to use the network before it is initialized?

Looks like a lot of people have this. What operating system is everyone using? I'm running Vista (which I hate), and I'm starting to suspect that some of its more asinine security features are giving me this grief.

IF you are running linux, it should be enough to double-click on the demofile to start watching it.
