Spring RTS Engine

I do not know what the intentions behind the download page were but it is not acceptable.

It needs to more clear and organized for a person looking at the download page for the first time.

The previous set up was much more clear than the present.

If someone is not going make what we have work, then it needs to be reverted.

Kind of weak, yeah... Maybe the assumption was that game developers would all make their own package. Probably the same guy that assumed breaking all the current lua wouldn't be a big deal.

Join the Spring cleaning the Wiki project then and do something about it...

an own package for each game would be easily made. just use the portable spring zip-file, add f.e. BA into mods directory and finished. This way game and engine would be perfectly separated. Adding one or two maps would make it even noob-friendly.

the link is even permanent, so every latest ba can be found there.
as long as fatcontroller is ok with it, jsut add it to the downloadpage /game installers

This isnt a problem, this is an opportunity. Hurry up with your installers, and if you already have one, add it to the page.

Having said that I'd like to see icons/logos representing the games so its not just a paragraph of text in a slightly different colour listing games installers.

caydr, and everyone else, I've made an easy installer package we all can use. It's all set up and pretty much all you need to do is change the name and put in your own mod

nah, just been busy IRL, I was playing evo with google night before last, and kaiser is on his little mini weekend vacation, so I've been attending to other stuff.

Ok well, installer will be ready sometime today. The only thing you will need to have is Clickteam Install Creator Freeware version.

It's all set up (course you can change it however you like), and only 2 or 3 minor edits (name changes) will be needed. You don't even need to be remotely intelligent to use this, so those of you without experience with installers and the like will be just fine
