when i saw the trailer, i thought really nice idea and then i saw the mini-movie (something with living in johannisburg), which is the basic original for the cinema-movie

it's brilliant, saw it on the opening night, if i had money i'd go see it again

It was awesome!

Just saw it today. I strongly recommend it. Also, not so much of a date movie. Too much action for that, and it's so good that you'll want to just watch the film and not your date. Still, it's a really good movie, the best SF movie that I've seen in a long time.
Stand-out bits in the film are the special effects and camera-work. Anyone who says that it's too shaky is a whinger.

Yet the CGI are impressive.
Several violations of the laws of thermodynamics, though.

cg is great

story is slow and unsurprising, lead actor sucks and is irritating

the only thing that could have been changed in that entire movie is the main chars accent into being a little more understandable, they had africans in that movie with better english.


Good solid ending, with great CG

also, the rape lazor gun was just amazing.


Gripping from about 40% onwards, the story is slow to start and to end, but i think the the acting was brilliant.
