Noobs quitting games: #$@# annoying

Don't you find it annoying when you have 2 peewees taking out some solars, and your oppenent suddenly leaves the game. Or when you blow up his commander and he disappears into thin air, leaving you and the other players with some half-finished structures.

So I have a simple request: instead of immediately quitting the game, SHIFT-ESC should bring up a dialog which has the following options:

* Resign ( = selfdestruct)
* Give all my units away
* I'm a noob, I just want to be inpolite and quit
* Cancel

That would be sooo much better, and stops me from getting pissed off.

Shouldn't all units be given away by default (if you have allies) and all your units self-d be default if you don't? (Plus, that many Fusions self-ding would be SO cool!)

The current system when structure stays for a while has some good point. Like someone can take over them with .cheat + .team X. Or you can keep them as a static AI and still have the fun of blowing up the enemy base even if he resigned. In current system it's the remaining players that decide what to do with teams without players, not the pissed-of quitter.

i dont leave halfway through games cause im a n00b. i leave cause my computer keeps restarting halfway through the game with no warning!

is there any news on how that awesome gui is going? i remember seeing some screens while ago and it looks really good.

I see you've already added it to the CVS, but I can't make out what it does exactly from the code alone. So ... what does it do?

It takes over all units from teams that are allied to you and has no controlling player.
