Control the speed of nano particles?

Nano particles have always moved super-slow in Spring compared to OTA, it doesn't look like a shower of microscopic bits, it looks like magical floating fairy dust or something. It makes me insecure about my sexuality frankly and I won't stand for that.
Is there any way to make them move faster? It's not as if it'll reduce performance, there'll still be the same number of nanobits.
Preferably on a per-unit basis. You could have L1 builders have the particles move relatively slowly, while T2 builders move fast, and commander nano particles look like they could tear apart a brick ****house if it got in the way.

Posting that in every thread someone requests something doesn't add anything to the forums CarRepairer, especially when CA's nano lasers aren't anything like what he's asking for...

CA does have nanospray with adjustable speed and particle shapes, though. I'm pretty sure the Lua can be adapted.

If you want help implementing a feature using Lua, post in Lua, if you are requesting something that could be done with Lua its a gray area and you'll get bugged either way, if it's requesting a change that would need to happen in the engine, do so in the Feature Requests... to be honest, no matter what, some people will think its in the wrong forum in any case.

If you want, I could probably just do it for you. Unless you want to actually LEARN how to do it yourself, which I honestly don't know if it's something you want to use your time on right now. It's not hard, once you take a look at some examples.

I really would take a look at CA. They pretty much have what you want. Just rip open the files and follow along.
