com reclaimable?

hi,

com leaves no wreck with ~2,5 kM, but u could reclaim him. so what do u think, should that be impossible?

I come from an OTA background, so I share my views. In OTA this is not possible, so this leaves one exploit possible. You can select a builder and chosoe reclaim. If you then select different blips on the (mini)map, the comm would be the only one that cannot be reclaimed, so the cursor shows a not possible symbol.

Of course, in xta, the location of the commander is not such a secret usually.

i did it sometimes in the past to get the 2,5k M for lvlin up, but i mean, it souldnt be possible to reclaim the com

well, it's a huge risk and in xta, lacking a comm can really screw you over

the decoy comm would also have to be unreclaimable imo

No it doesn't, because you can reclaim commander in spring.

You can reclaim it in some spring games, but not all, so it's still a question to answer.

No no. Manolo meant this: in xta the commander doesn't leave wreck when killed (as in some mods), but it is still possible to reclaim a live one. He wonders whether this possibility should be removed.

Reclaiming the comm for a shitload of metal is fun imo. This wouldnt happen in any serious game ofcourse . But in ffas or team games it can be a nice addition to the eco game.

One of my favorite strategies in an ffa is to reclaim my commander and build a nuke straight away. Good laughs guarenteed ;) Even if you fail.
