Spring RTS Engine

I uploaded a replay of mine to File Universe to show successfull Goliath defense. I kill two Goliaths with two Bulldogs, four HLT's, and Fark Support.
Aside from that, I did nothing worth emulating in this game.

Not to sound like an ignoramus... but... uhh. How do you play
replay's?

run spring.exe, say "no" to do yu want to be a server, then type in the name of the demo (whole filename, not sure if you need the path (relative))

Like FireCrack said, and be sure the download is in the TASpring\demo directory. That way you only have to enter the actual filename.

I usually just make a copy of the demo and name it 1.sdf so i won't have to write the long name.
And i think spring also searches in the root directory of Spring. But you're better off not putting files in there...

Opening them with a double-click of the mouse would be great, though...

F2 Ctrl C esc in windows file explorer then Ctrl V in spring host address screen for long names.

I am watching and about 15 minutes into game crazed and foeofbee merls missiles start missing the mountain entirely whats up with that? It makes his merls not really helping them at all because they cant hit it. if that was something they planned for wow props to slyvinus and bakara i would have never thought of that. Guess some people are just better then me for now if its a fluke they go lucky and crazed and foeofbee unlucky.

Since I am famous with this Replay I figured that I would state that I am Foe's Ally in this replay.

Was a good game I could never really get started but I beleive my Gimp was the MVP of the battle with the destuction of the gap due to Comm Loss.

Just figured I would throw that out there....

It was really a great game btw :) I think we thought we had a very strong advantage middle-game and it would be over soon but your fine strategies ... well, just worked :) so thanks for the lesson :p

FARK is the MVP its the only reason you survived :) By the way the goliaths should have just avoided the middle area, and gone for the power sources to the side. (and the fark)
