A command to mute is ok. An automute that will mute you when you try to get the attention of the ally that has 100 gunships in the base and doesn't use them, is not ok.

+1, a votemute or something similiar (e.g. couldnt start votes) would be okay

if you put 10 points, and he does not react, it really makes little sense to put an other 90 points. i never seen anyone react after 100 points really. the only thing it does, is get on the nerves of all the other allies. therefore, it is purely bad, and mute for it would be good.

@ingame:
1. engine gui is deprecated, so it is a feature request for better lua guis
2. spamming drawings can already stopped via lua, so it is a request @ modders (CA don't have such problems, so you won't find such a gadget in it)

well, im not talking about spamming/drawing only, also ingame votespam, ring spam or when some noob is simply spamming messages from spec. simple command/vote for muting player so mofo cant talk
