as the topic says, i want the possibility to create longer nicknames in the lobby

If you take my old suggestion and make the clans not part of the name and build it into a profile system, it would be more suited.

then you have like 4-6 letters more, but would be a good idea

it would be bad to have longer names for things like advanced player list or.. well everywhere where you would list up usernames.

Wouldnt work on 1024x768 systems. The various angled buttons would also be a pain

A mockup design does not work or not work. It is not a working piece of material. For all you know, God might decide to code it himself and he might decide he wants it to work for 1024*768 systems.

regardless of whether a deity is involved... if something will work unaltered at a resolution, it will work unaltered at a resolution.

Im jsut saying if I tried to build that now ti would be epic fail under systems running at that resolution, it would be even more awkward on systems running at larger ones!
