Game engine crashes during instalization

When I go to start a game the Game engine gets to the point of loading the LUARules and instantly crashes. I am running this on an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 ghz processor w/VIIV tech and an ATI Radeon X1300 128mb Video card. I NEED HELP
