heart attack apparently

as much as i thought he was a bit of a weirdo.

As a musician you cant deny his contribution to music love him or hate him hes one of the biggest musicians of all time. Hes certainly had some influence on me and you cant deny some of the songs are musical genius even if its not your style (i hate most pop but like alot of MJ stuff).

As a bassist the basslines to some of his songs are awesome and catchy.

Ive been in metal concerts and bands cover MJ songs and they get a huge reaction from everyone.

Truly a great loss to music.(i didnt expect him to do his concerts even if he lived)

update- reports that micheal jackson died of a heart attack are wrong!
he was found in the childrens wing having a stroke

Michael Jackson didn't die from cardiac arrest. It was food poisoning that did him in. An autopsy was performed, and they found 12 year old nuts in his mouth.



all seriousness, i thought he'd outlive me with all the precautions and money he has.


All those people will be refunded for this non existing tour i guess.


I also had a soft spot for him, and didnt believe he did any of his alleged crimes

MJ did a lot more for music than a lot of you will ever realize. If Elvis was the king of rock, then MJ was the king of pop. Interestingly enough, MJ's first wife was Elvis' daughter.

Yes the jokes about MJ are always funny, but don't marginalize his contribution to modern music.

I am glad to see a post about his death on this forum. I hope he goes to heaven. I like how he like a few other artist just spread love and skillz. What a funking talent!

I was talking to a fellow alum about mj and how it was a shame such a talented young man took the path he did. Poor guy was really special just the world warped him in weird ways. It is a shame and I hoped that this thread was a joke, such a pity.

Yes, he was a very good singer and pretty much the most important figure in pop music. But how does that make his death more important than that of countless others?

He's a celebrity. His death is no more important, just more people care. I don't. Whatever.
