A fuse box is an animal belonging to any one of about 27 species (of which only 12 actually belong to the Cuboides genus, or 'true boxes') of small to medium-sized boxes, characterized by possessing a long, narrow on/off switch. By far the most common and widespread species of fuse box is the red fuse box (Cuboides Cuboides), although various species are found on almost every continent.
