meh if you get a random slice of the himalayas or something the scale wont be too noticable. if you pick some obviously recognizable continent then of course its gonna look dumb because a peewee will be 100 miles wide.

i meant open transporttycoon btw, the open source remake. the original doesnt have that feature i think.

Because the big money is in shooters, sports games, a handful of big-name strategy games and the occasional RPG. Oh, and in the Nintendo Wii.

You make superb heightmaps through manually articulating levels. You make realistic heightmaps through doing this.

I'm in the market for realistic heightmaps for some reason, so this is useful, but it really doesn't replace the manual touch, and people should expect difficulties finding realistic heightmaps which are playable given their own abilities in resource distribution, etcetera.

You'd have to adjust the heightmap to be playable anyway.
