In my opinion, some of the best 3do model sets we'll ever see.
Edit: Replaced the individual images with a groupshot that he created today.

Not sure, I haven't downloaded the mod yet. They supposedly looking really good in Spring, and there are a lot more models judging by what else I've seen in the thread.

for one thing if we can use these it's a way to quickly eliminate any TA IP from *A mods and we can then advertise more publically while we work on making new shiny s3o models.

JK redid the ota textures so if the guy lets people use these in a compatible license :p CA could be IP Free v soon :D

Yeah, speaking to the right guy. I'm currently making models for the next incarnation of my TA mod and I heard that you guys might find use for them also as you're aiming to get rid of OTA content even more than I am.
At the moment everything is more or less WIP, but once I'm finished with first public alpha version of XS II you should feel free to use the models and textures.
Note though that I'm remaking only some of the unit concepts that appear in OTA and they'll be significantly different from what they used to be. Rest of the stuff will then be completely new.

Edit: And what I mean is, I would love to see Excess II become a Spring mod. I can't imagine how sexy it would look and play with his awesome unit models/concepts and a good effects set!
