Because there is a popular(?) racing game with the same name. How do I find its homepage?

You add "rts" to get some links, or go to
the site in Argh's sig.
Whoa, that got rearranged a lot some time in the last couple days.

The website's in the middle of a fairly serious revamp. We're moving to WordPress.
Probably should put it back to the temp 'site for now, we're not ready to deploy the final. Probably tomorrow.
Oh, and yeah... Disney's game apparently sold well, and still Googles strongly, probably because Disney's marketing budget is still keeping it there, or it's just coasting on momentum.
Just how it is, being a small-fry game designer with a media budget of $0.

Or simply because it's a fairly major retail release and thus a lot of people are interested in it which Google was designed to sort by?

I had a quick look and most of the sites that reported PURE RTS used screenshots of the racing game.

Same deal as googlefrog
argh, the googling thing has nothing to do with having a budget of 0$, it has everything with you failing to google properly before naming

not to mention PURE itself is a fucking common as fuck word
you really should just rename PURE v1.1 to VIUR or something random that hasnt been used for a game yet. namespaces are important in teh webz le moderne.
looks pretty nicely polished as far as the game itself tho

But a made-up name would ruin the wonderful '90s retro feeling of PURE. It has all the ingredients - crufty backstory, Man Vs. Machines terminator/matrix plotline, acronym name, and the allcaps single-word serious name like DOOM or ABUSE or DESCENT.

Actually, it is. Kernel Panic game gets spring, spring, moddb, moddb, youtube, youtube as the first block of results. I didn't even need to specify rts.

Are you suggesting I should have capitalized Game even though the sentence doesn't make sense if game isn't part of the google query? Or are you just talking.

I meant googling Kernel Panic game instead of googling just Kernel Panic.

Unlucky argh, shouldn't have gotten it posted all over the net when it wasn't ready, everyone thinks they can get the full game for free.
