Sometime before Spring gets huge, we should make a special lobby room or channel only accesible to us old-timers.

Doing this, we would run the risk of indeed ensuring that spring would not grow big because newcomers would be somewhat excluded from the old users.
Also, i think that knowing the people, as i do (i've played many times with Foe OfTheBee and a few with zwzsg) already does the trick and already makes newcomers feel a little out of place.
