Hook a Brother Up

Hey guys I used to play Spring
I've recently downloaded the latest lobby Client and there is like nobody online to play. Just wondering where everyone is and what I need to do to get in the game again.

Latest...lobby...server?
Whut?
The lobby server is what you get when you want to run your own lobby... which will, logically, be empty.
To _play_ you just need to get the latest game package.

And just download the latest BA. The current client (SpringLobby) has a BitTorrent based autodownloader you can use to fetch the mods and maps you need.

Is it possible you're connected to the backup server? Go to options and check the server thing says taspringmaster -something. (with springlobby it's under file>connect)
Because seriously there's plenty of people on at every time, although it's biggest around USA evenings.

My lobby says "TASclient" is that the wrong one? I have downloaded the latest client that you linked and installed it

Check in option that the server address is taspringmaster.clan-sy.com

Oh - things have been going back and forth between SpringLobby and TASClient. TASClient is more stable. Either way, you need to get the latest BA and whatever maps you want. I don't know if TASClient has access to the Torrent system, but if not you want to get SpringDownloader to fetch your maps.

It's a P2P map/mod filesharing system made specifically for Spring.
Alternately you can fetch maps from Jobjol, but I think the search function on Jobjol is dead. Edit: looks like Jobjol's search works.

Do not listen to pxtl. Get the latest CA by enabling the 'CA downloader' tab within Spring Downloader.

He wasn't asking for your game or mod suggestions, he was asking for help with getting into lobby with the rest of the players.
