Spring RTS Engine

I think they are a awesome side to play as, and with a few adjustments to the heavy attacking unit, they would be a great addition to KP even if they do not fit in with the whole theme of the game.

As much as KP is serious, its also a joke mod to play, and i think fairies just emphasises the fun element in KP.

The anti spam unit that they have is brilliant, and if they had some sort of nuke function and a balanced heavy unit, they would be great.

Also, speed increase when climbing would be nice, and the fact that the t1 fairies are quite useless is a bit down hearting, but they make a nice meat sheild for anti spam.

They REALLY need a arty unit.

Also, keep them a hidden faction, its awesome to have noobs go OMGWTF

I purposely lowered their HP to bring down the whole faction and ensure it was underpowered. Because by aiming at having them balanced, I risked having Touhou being op, and I really don't want risking a secret race being op. Maybe one day I'll get to play tons of test games with competent people and then will balance them so Touhou is even with the other factions. Meanwhile, if you choose to go Touhou, it means you're PR0 enough to handle the disavantage.

Marisas attack is useless atm, its not good vs anything lol.

I think it in with the theme of the game. I would prefer something more related to computer. maybe a faction related to computer graphics.

Dude, I have 5 different "4th faction" ideas fleshed out and designed that are every bit as crazy (though not necessarily as good) as something that KDR would come up with. I don't post them, because I know that zswg and KDR have their own ideas of factions and don't need anybody else's ideas.

The whole point of learning to do this stuff is to be able to see your own ideas given form. That's _why_ they do it. I don't expect any faeries to grant my wishes. If they're on-topic while people are spitballing, I bring them up. But otherwise, I know nobody cares.

Unless, of course, instead of ideas you bring me a new faction with all units already modelled, textured, scripted, etc... Then I'll happily include them in my releases if they are as good as current units, include them but as hidden if they are not as good but not too bad, and be annoyed about how to explain they're not good without discouraging you if they are not good.

I have half of a single skirmisher modeled for my "User" faction. It's been sitting on my hard disk for six months. That's how much I suck.

That's still half a unit more than I ever modelled for KP!

Play as network, order a construction, cancel it, order another, cancel it too. Old hacker is playing as hacker and setting the Hole to hold fire before building anything.

Yes. No. Depends. Maybe.

Fairies are shy creatures:
They could still be present in your KP, but hidden. If you play KP alot, maybe one day chance will shine upon you and you'll get an enchantm... err, the surprise to see a fairy faction has settled into your map. It is also rumoured that certain people know a trick to summon fairies to their bidding.

Fairies are fragile creatures:
The GPLisation of our modern landscape may have killed them. Some Kernel Panic versions have been sterilised of all the magic and wonder of the fairies, because it was said fairies were not compliant with legal standards. They'll never show there.

I am running Kernel Panic 3.8. I have seen the Touhou twice, both times when something happened to CPU's playing as Network.

I looked at this thread and tried to figure out how to play as the Touhou myself, but was confused and simply ended up as Network. Could someone give me a more detailed explanation on how to play as the Touhou?
