Carbon is good

All that carbon buried in the earth used to be plants and animals right? So whats the harm in putting it back? I say lets burn everything synthetic we can get our hands on and let the earth become a lush warm paradise that dinosaurs can live in again. Carbon tax is stupid and I don't want to have my money taken to pay greedy people who don't want to be productive.

Most things synthetic things are toxic when burnt, making the ground you put it under, unliveable.

All that uranium in the earth is just stone, right? What's the harm in spreading it around a bit?

The stuff in the ground is not synthetic. It's not a good idea to sink all coastal cities into the sea, among many other things.
Carbon tax is stupid and I don't want to have my money taken to pay greedy people who don't want to be productive.
This has nothing to do with anything.

But carbon is what makes toast toasty, and toasty things are yummy. See those explosions? They toast their surroundings, therefore carbon is yummy and we must rove the planet in giant vehicles with flamethrowers and missiles and burn everything, anything that wont burn needs exploding.

All that oxygen in the air was synthetised by plants right? So what's the harm in burning it back so we can get our hands on and let the earth become a lush warm paradise again?

Erm no I was serious, the whole point is all that oil and stuff that's used to make plastic and gas used to be plants soooo why not let it be plants again? On a side note uranium never was plants so its ok to leave it alone, but I think it should be used to power reactors to help with the burning.

Agreed. Quite excellent if I do say so myself.

My point is serious too. O2 is just plant poo, so let's undo the deeds of the plants by combining my oxgen and your carbon.

Burn fools and furries for fuel! This deals with the problem of overpopulation at the same time

Okay, I'll go slow for you.

Carbon is matter. Matter is everything that takes up space. You are made of matter. Got that?

Okay then, now, amazingly intelligent scientists have figured out that matter cannot be made or destroyed, only changed from one form to another don't contradict me with fission/fusion, I'm using microwave logic, this guy's too stupid to understand anything else. This means, your "oil that used to be plants" may have once been a plant, but has changed into a different form. Now, because it was originally a plant doesn't mean that it retains the properties of plants. The oil we use has very little resemblance to the plants it came from. If we burn this oil, it will change into CO2, a gaseous form of this carbon (which means that it's a gas) . Now, this has different properties than the plant it came from. In the "dinosaur days," as you call them, these were on the ground, as plants, rather than in the air. they behaved differently than CO2. They made oxygen rather than retaining the heat inside our atmosphere, causing our ice caps to melt.

There you go. Third grade science. That was point #1.

Point #2: Sure, it's natural! Could you please tell me what natural means? We are humans, we are animals, we are "of nature," anything we do must be natural! That includes your "carbon tax!"

Point #3: I am very sorry, but I (and a few billion other humans) value my life more than that of some "dinosaurs" which may or may not evolve from the flooded ruins of our civilization after we all do what you say.
