Spring RTS Engine

Anyone play this? Its fairly new and has only just come out of beta and renamed to evony, its kinda like tribal wars, travium, or ikarium. Personally i think this is better than all of them. My names Baladin and my main citys co-ords are 164,161 and im in the middle of friesland.

I was in the civony "beta", I liked it, was on server 3, and was in a great alliance, which was disolved and then attacked and split appart by our former allies... so I stopped.

edit: Let me clarify, it's fun for the first 14 or so days until the 2000 or so people who actually take the game seriously come out on top and quash the competition, if you are the hard-core type you'll probably still enjoy it after that.

Well you know what they say, dont judge a book by its cover and besides everyone ive showed it to has loved it so far.

I'm betting the rename has to do with the fact that they were obviously lifting the font-styling from the Sid Meier's Civ games - combined with the farked up "O", the game looked it was called

CIV*NY or something similar.

does my population starve or something when the food runs out?

You are totally doing something wrong, build/upgrade farms, if you have no room for farms try to upgrade your town hall, if you have a standing army and haven't left newbie protection, dismiss them (unless it's huge, in that case use it to attack a one of the nearby squares that will increase food production... If all else fails raise you taxes to 100% so the people eating you food leave until the number is positive.

Also, you can usually get some food for finishing the newbie quests, Also, you should be able to "speed-up" the completion of farms up to level 4.

Also make sure your food production is on 100 and use any extra items that will increase its production.

Wow i have no idea what could possibly be taking up -124k food, did you build a crap load of troops or something, maybe you have a captive hero my bro did and it was taking up a load of food for some reason other than that i dont know...

Lvl 4 farms will produce ~1000 each, and they take slots and resources that should be used for wood farms :g

Done and done, but 5000 production+10% still aint gonna feed a -120k need

You need more VeganGas- built additional Farms!

I tried it today, It is pretty fun, but only if you don't mind waiting. I personally prefer faster games, but i may pop in every day or so and do something... I am on server 6, Lombardy, at 228, 630, waiting for lumber...
