Spring RTS Engine

One of my friends seems to be having a problem here.

My friend downloaded spring, started tasclient, made a user, and then tried to connect.
However, it seems to get stuck at getting the user list.
Basically, my friend cant log onto the server; just sits there for a bit... ok a really long time. Basically, it never loads.

So um.
Is there anything you guys suggest to help this?
We would really love to be able to play spring together :\

Have you tried shutting it off and opening the program again?

Try both TAS client and spring lobby. If one doesn't work the other should.

I get this too sometimes. Eventually it times out. My advice is keep trying every half hour as it never happens for more than a few hours for me.

It was tried a few different instances over a few days...
I shall have my friend try springlobby then... However I have no clue how to use springlobby. No time like the present to learn I guess

There's nothing there that you shouldn't be able to figure out just by looking at it. The fight menus and stuff are on separate tabs, but other than that it's basically the same. If you have the slightest question, asking in #springlobby (which it will log you onto automatically) can get them answered in less than a minute generally.

Ok springlobby has unitsync problems, it doesnt want to work for some reason..
I can log onto the server fine, but it seems that my friend cant because of it.
