Spring is an opensource RTS game and engine, based around Total Annihilation. Spring is in fact capable of directly loading all Total Annihilation models, however maps are incompatible do to Total Annihilation's isometric view. Spring is currently multiplayer only, and has integrated an lobby chat / game lobby. The Spring graphics engine is capable of realtime damage to terrain, and allows full 3d rotation of the camera. Several mods are available for Spring in addition to its Total Annihilation based core.
Ugh

I had nothing to do with anything, control of that passed out of my hands nearly a year ago.

Spring as a Game should be deleted from Moddb leaving it as an engine only. Also making all Spring(game) mods into games of the Spring Engine in Moddb. Don't cha think?

it is just the logo image. there was a push for a correction, and one was made, I have no idea why it wasn't applied. There are threads about it on this forum. PM swift.

on a more personal note: it is good that you are checking up on these things but your approach is very harsh and makes people want to rebel please be more diplomatic.

I think I'm owner ATM. Ya, I haven't touched the moddb profile in like a year and a half.

well moddb does have some traffic, and could always help having spring updated to get more players into it.

Redundant text is redundant.

The blue is still fucking horribly ugly and stupid

You should be castrated for thinking that up

I haven't yet thought of a suitable punishment for actually doing it

My eyes! They hurt!

Really, why don't you just use a nice screenshot as a background just like any other major engine does in Mod DB? A great image sells better than an ugly ass logo like AF's.

Like almost everything else in spring, if there's a better way to do it, show me, and it will be done that way.

In this case, give me a better image and it will be used. Although, AF's logo is decent, we've got like 40 screen shots in the moddb page already, I don't see how it would make a difference.

Well, it's just how I see it. Source has a lot of screenshots too and yet they use another one in the main banner thingie.
