Just do an IP to IP game but use network Ip's.

Start a game in single player mode on the host, on the other computers type in the hosts IP after saying no to the do you want to be a server question.

You should thus have a multiplayer game going. It'll right a script to script.txt, you can edit script.txt and give spring.exe script.txt as its only command line parameter and it'll load it, that way you can edit settings such as allied and sides without the use of a lobby.

edit: oh, sorry, the client linked (brown, bellow) is outdated, and wont work with the new version, .60b1.

It will work with version .51b1 and below only.

or try this client.

it has a readme file, post results or questions.

mongus : WIth 60b1, don't you have to rename the .smf in .sm2
(elsewhere , fobbah will not find any files)

Go there : http://taspring.clan-sy.com/download.php and download Ta spring serveur (50ko)

Uncompress it and launch LanServer.bat .
Then launch the client bundled with spring, and in the option, write the adress of your server.

TASServer 0.10 started on 2005.08.16 at 10:10:41 CEST
LAN mode enabled
Couldn't find motd.txt. Using default MOTD
Port 8200 opened
Listening for connections ...
Server closed!
I get this when I try to start the lanserver.

Strange, it should stay on "listening connections" ... try to send a pm to LordBeta.
