What happened to XTA?

Though this may seem to be a dumb question to those who frequent these forums, I've been on something of a hiatus from Spring for the last year or so. On coming back, there appears to be no official source remaining for XTA releases.
Did XTA die horribly somehow? Has all development been dropped, and version updates discontinued? Or is there a hidden place in which one can find XTA?
The wiki links to 9.58, the XTA forum from the list of mod sites on the stickies was last updated with 9.51... I don't know enough about what has been happening, but perhaps the information should be updated, at least.
Perhaps the latest version of the mod is downloadable through Spring's client, but I shall have to wait on that theory, as my laptop seems to disagree with Spring's automated client install device thing. (this is also new since I left, so I dunno lol).
But yeah. XTA stuff. Is it obsolete now?
Or have I missed something really obvious somewhere along the line?

XTA is currently being maintained by Noruas.
However, It is largely unplayed these days as games like CA render most of its unique points obsolete.
Not to say that it isn't a great mod with superb effects and good balance.

It's still being played. Look in particular in the evenings (CET).

I strongly disagree with this.
While certain aspects are similar (particularly in a direct comparison with BA) "flat balance", the CA eco, and the propagation of defense in CA, not to mention the COMMANDER, make them play very differently.
XTA sea is still, imo, far and away the most developed and engaging naval combat in spring. I recommend that the jaded people who have played way too much spring, that are interested in what it has to offer vs other mods try a 1v1 on green river or blue comet.
The "largely unplayed" comments are basically bullshit.
I suggest /j #xta , then read all the links, particularly the "ba players read this" link
As for forums, technically I am admin for the XTA forums, but I never really bother, will maybe get a mod subforum set up, if it is deemed necessary..
I recently made a smurf account in the KniP training clan ([KniP]eltnip) in order to tutor/assist anybody trying to learn some of the finer points of XTA (or for that matter; EE, S44, Gundam)
If you would like a not-strictly-competitive lulzy 1v1 (or 6) feel free to pm [RoX]pintle or [KniP]eltnip

troll inside.
I have recently left XTA to play BA. Mainly cause I dont like the fact that XTA is mainly about comm and the late eco fail.
But I tried CA too, and mainly, this mod fail. XTA is far away better.
No need to argue more than you did just above.
Guess why some guy always try to sell us CA, huh?

nobody posts there :/ to answer the main question XTA is actively played by a small group of Spring community, join #xta to learn more. It is also still in development, v9.58 was released less then a month ago I think.
v9.58 ->

I play with XTA when i see a battleroom with some players. Cool mod. even if i find it lacking units.
In playing style, there are less units in game (nanotowers have less range), and light defenses have nearly no use (you need really too much time for destroy even a scout with a LLT).
The AA is even less efficient than in BA
The players are not more or less friendly or good than in BA (even if there is more andmore jerks recently in BA) and, of course, verbal agressions are more rare than in CA (it's hard to be more unfriendly than a CA player).
