Spring RTS Engine

Hi I'm new here and I recently downloaded a game/mod and i tried to load it as single player to get the hang of it but as it loads the mod it just freezes, does nothing! please help this looks to be a very good game AND I WANT TO PLAY IT!!!

How long did you wait? Was it using your hard drive like crazy? If tasclient won't work then use springlobby instead.

I have no idea where to find springg lobby it isn't in the file directory and i don't where to find the hard drive usage and now nothing seems to work not even the test!.....I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!!!!
If this info helps I'm using a Sony VAIO WGN-AR71M Laptop fully updated.

Please I just want to play skirmishes!

I have the same problem, its every time i join and exit a battle room it freezes for about 30 seconds, kind of annoying when your in a hurry to join a battle or a spot just opened up or something.

at least i know i'm not alone .... surely someone knows of a solution!?!
