Stamper

I wrote this a little while ago to make it easier to use my logos as they were intended, and to make creating spring engine media as easy as possible.

Stamper takes a picture you upload and turns it into spring engine desktops/media. You can choose what size you want it and where the logo goes, and blur/scanlines/overlay etc

I never finished adding everything I wanted to it, but it works. I might make some adjustments to the minisite but otherwise itll work as it currently does

Plastering the Spring logo to a nice Abduzeedo design is like sticking stamps to your nob. A little.

it would be nice if it was evenly spaced on the corner.

I take your model of the atom and give you the standard model, pwned

But yes I dont knwo any image magick apis and as I said its a work inprogress prototype that just happens to be fully functional if not rough around the edges. Thought it might aswell get used rather than sitting on my server space idle for months

No offense AF but why are you such a hard ass on exactly how the logo is used?

If it is as public as it is (for a gpl project) then people should be free to do what they want (well more so than you seem to like anyways), or we need a new one :P

Its using it in the official +advertisement stuff I make a deal out of, everything else can use moomins on ice for their logo for all I care.

Stuff advertising the engine, should use the engine logo. This tool makes it easier for people to do that.

A much Improved Stamper!

http://stamper.darkstars.co.uk

Changelog:
  • Improved compatability with main darkstars theme and styling
  • Now uses blueprint css
  • Thumbnail image listings now have outer shadow in css3 supporting browsers
  • Removed unnecessary smoothing and gaussian blurs on thumbnails and resized images
  • Images are now PNG rather than JPEG
  • Images are now resampled & resized, not merely resized, meaning far fewer artefacts and much higher quality on larger sized images.
    With resampling and without resampling
  • Main spring engine stamp revised with smoother fonts, tweaked outer glow, and a faint inner glow (a WIP upcoming Spring logos mk4 minus some other tweaks and additions)
  • Minor performance changes
  • Logo url changed from spring.clan-sy.com to springrts.com
I intend to replace the form with a JQuery UI interface, and the ability to choose which stamp to use, so contributions please.
Variations of the spring engine logo and logos for other projects are welcome. Submissions should be 24bit PNGs of the highest resolution available with transparent backgrounds.

To much of it was being applied in some areas and not enough in others. Balance has been restored, and hopefully the Gundam RTS release schedule
